Before Your Treatment
- Stay well hydrated for 2 days before your appointment
- Avoid blood-thinning medications (aspirin, ibuprofen) for 1 week before (consult your doctor first)
- Do not smoke for 24 hours before treatment as it affects platelet function
- Eat a good meal before your appointment
- Arrive with clean skin free of topical products
After Your Treatment
- Avoid applying any products to the treated area for 6 hours post-treatment
- Do not wash the hair for 24 hours after scalp PRP
- Avoid strenuous exercise, heat, and sweating for 24 hours
- Some redness, swelling, and bruising is normal — it subsides within 1–3 days
- Protect treated skin with SPF 50+ daily
- Follow up with your prescribed serum or growth-factor product if provided
