Exosomes Therapy
Next-generation cell-signalling therapy for hair regrowth and skin regeneration — delivering thousands of regenerative molecules precisely where the body needs to repair.
What Is It?
Beyond PRP — The Next Level of Regeneration
Exosomes represent the leading edge of regenerative aesthetic medicine. Where PRP delivers growth factors, exosomes deliver the entire biological instruction set — thousands of signalling molecules, proteins, and genetic messages that activate multiple repair pathways simultaneously. The result is faster, more comprehensive regeneration than any single-mechanism treatment achieves.
For hair loss, exosomes reawaken dormant follicles and extend the active growth phase, producing visible new density that complements and significantly enhances PRP protocols. For skin, they stimulate comprehensive collagen remodelling, accelerate healing after procedures, and reverse some of the cellular-level changes associated with photoageing.
At House of Aesthetics, exosome therapy is administered by our MCPS-qualified consultant dermatologist using pharmaceutical-grade exosomes that meet international quality and safety standards. Treatment protocols are tailored based on whether the goal is hair restoration, skin regeneration, or both.

Next-Gen Science
The Process
How It Works
Assessment & Goal Setting
Your treating doctor assesses your hair density, scalp condition, or skin damage pattern. Photographs are taken for baseline comparison. The appropriate exosome product, concentration, and injection protocol is selected based on your specific goals.
Preparation
For scalp treatment, the hair is parted and the scalp cleaned. For skin treatment, numbing cream is applied. The exosome solution is prepared according to the prescribed protocol.
Injection Treatment
Using fine needles or a mesotherapy gun, exosome solution is delivered across the treatment zone in multiple micro-injections. For scalp: the full affected area is treated. For skin: the face, neck, or target zone. Sessions take 30–60 minutes.
Progress Monitoring
Follow-up photographs at each session objectively track hair density or skin improvement. The protocol is adjusted based on your response. Maintenance sessions are scheduled to sustain the regenerative momentum.

Pre & Post Treatment Care
Before Your Treatment
- Avoid blood-thinning medications for 5 days before treatment if medically safe
- Wash your hair the morning of your scalp appointment
- Avoid retinoids and exfoliating acids for 3 days before skin exosome treatment
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before your appointment
- Inform your doctor of any recent illness, scalp condition, or active skin infection
After Your Treatment
- Avoid washing the scalp for 24 hours after scalp exosome treatment
- Avoid touching or rubbing the skin treatment area for the remainder of the day
- Avoid intense exercise, heat, and direct sun exposure for 24 hours
- Apply SPF 50+ the morning after skin treatment
- Some scalp tenderness and mild skin redness is normal and resolves within 24 hours
- Continue any prescribed topical treatments (minoxidil, retinoids) as directed — exosomes complement, not replace, medical hair and skin treatments
Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Exosomes are nano-sized vesicles (tiny packages) naturally secreted by cells as a form of biological communication. They carry growth factors, proteins, lipids, and genetic material (mRNA, microRNA) that instruct target cells to activate specific repair and regeneration processes. In aesthetic medicine, exosomes derived from stem cells are injected to deliver a concentrated regenerative signal — stimulating hair follicle activity, collagen production, and skin repair at a molecular level that goes beyond what PRP or polynucleotides achieve alone.
PRP uses your own platelet-derived growth factors to stimulate healing. Exosomes deliver a far more complex biological message — thousands of signalling molecules simultaneously — that activates multiple repair pathways at once. Clinical studies show exosomes produce stronger and faster hair regrowth responses than PRP alone, with results often visible earlier in the treatment course. For skin, exosomes stimulate more comprehensive tissue remodelling. The two are often combined for a synergistic effect — PRP provides the growth factor stimulus while exosomes provide the regenerative blueprint.
For hair: androgenetic alopecia (male and female pattern hair loss), diffuse hair thinning, hair loss following illness or stress (telogen effluvium), and as a complement to PRP hair programmes. For skin: collagen stimulation, fine lines and skin laxity, post-acne scarring, sun damage, dull and aged skin, and accelerated healing after laser or peel treatments. Exosomes are one of the most versatile regenerative treatments currently available in aesthetic medicine.
For hair restoration, an initial course of 3–4 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart is standard, followed by maintenance sessions every 3–6 months. For skin regeneration, 2–3 sessions spaced 3–4 weeks apart form the initial course. Results are cumulative and progressive — hair regrowth is typically visible 2–3 months after starting treatment as follicles enter the active growth phase.
Exosomes used in aesthetic medicine are derived from rigorously screened and quality-controlled stem cell cultures — they are acellular (contain no living cells), so there is no risk of immune rejection or cell-based complications. They are tested for sterility, safety, and biological activity before use. The treatment has an excellent safety profile in published clinical literature. As with any injectable, the main risks are temporary redness, swelling, and rare bruising at injection sites.
Hair follicle activation takes time — the follicle must move from the resting phase (telogen) into the active growth phase (anagen). Most patients begin to see reduced shedding within 4–6 weeks and new growth visibility at 2–3 months. Full results from the initial course are assessed at 4–6 months. Before and after photographs are taken at each visit to objectively track progress.
Yes — exosomes are highly compatible with other treatments and often produce better results in combination. For hair: exosomes + PRP is the gold standard protocol, targeting different but complementary pathways. For skin: exosomes are used after laser or peel sessions to accelerate healing and deepen regeneration. Mesotherapy, polynucleotides, and skin boosters all combine well with exosomes in a comprehensive skin health programme.
Good candidates for hair exosomes are patients with early to moderate hair thinning or loss who want to restore density and slow progression — the earlier treatment begins, the better the response as more follicles are still viable. For skin, candidates include patients wanting to address ageing, sun damage, or post-treatment recovery. Exosomes are not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for patients with active scalp infections or certain autoimmune conditions.
Our Standard of Care
Every Procedure. Every Time. A Qualified Doctor.
In Pakistan, many aesthetic and dental clinics use unqualified technicians for procedures that legally and ethically require a doctor. At House of Aesthetics, that is not how we operate — and never will be.
MBBS & BDS Qualified Only
Every aesthetic and dental procedure is performed by a doctor holding a recognised medical degree — MBBS for skin and aesthetic treatments, BDS for all dental work. No exceptions.
PMC Registered
All our doctors are registered with the Pakistan Medical Commission. You can verify their credentials. We are a regulated practice, not a beauty salon with a medical name.
Doctor-Assessed, Doctor-Treated
Your treatment plan is designed by the doctor who examines you — not a sales consultant, not a coordinator. The same qualified professional who assesses you performs your treatment.
Our clinical team holds qualifications from University of Health Sciences Lahore, King Edward Medical University, and Cardiff University (UK) — with 17+ combined years of clinical experience.
